Sengchanh Thepsoumphou

Sengchanh Thepsoumphou was born July 15, 1939 and passed away June 17, 2017. She was born in the village of Banh Ngiew, Taseng Nakeo, City of Xaiyasomboun, Champhasack Province, Laos. Her father was Phiang Thepvongsa, and Mother Chanhpheng Thepvongsa. Sengchanh had a brother, and four sisters, she was the third born, and is survived by her youngest sister Kaikeo, who lives in Laos. Sengchanh married Bounsey Thepsoumphou in the village of Banh Ngiew, Taseng Nakeo, City of Xaiyasomboun, Champhasack Province. Together they had 5 children who survive her, Konkai, Sayyo, David, Vieng and Phongsay. Sengchanh arrived in the United States in 1979 in NJ, and moved to Raymond, WA in 1983. Sengchanh has remained a resident of Raymond, WA until she passed away at the age of 77. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart has stopped beating, hardworking hands were put to rest. The family wishes to thank all their friends and family. A Traditional Buddhist Funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
