Sandra Lee Evertson

Sandra Lee Evertson "Sandy", a Raymond resident, passed away Tuesday, January 8th, at Willapa Harbor Hospital. She was 73. Sandy was born August 10th, 1945 in Centralia Washington to Dewey "Claude" Hurn and Sallie "Alma" Hurn. Sandy was raised in Centralia, the youngest of 10 children (8 sisters and 1 brother). She graduated from Centralia High School in 1963. She married Stephen Lee Evertson on May 2nd, 1964, divorced in 2002. Sandy loved her family, she was an amazing cook, loved music and played the piano. She enjoyed reading romance novels and watching her Mariners, Seahawks and Huskies whenever they were on. She is survived by her 4 daughters, Lora Lee (Rich) Sanchez of South Bend, Brenda Lee (Todd) Strozyk of South Bend, Ronda Lee (Paul) Everson of Elma, Donna Lee (Justin) Pedrazzetti of Menlo, 8 grandchildren, as well as her two sisters Shirley Skundrick of Medford, Oregon and Devera Mahy of Aloha, Oregon. A Celebration of Sandy's life will take place at a family residence in Ocean Shores at a later date. Arrangements were in care of Stollers Mortuary in Raymond.
