Richard John Buroker

Richard John Buroker passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021 at his home in Raymond; he was 75. Richard was born December 11, 1945 to Loyal Freedas and Anne Marie (Drazdoff) Buroker in Portland, Oregon. Richard graduated from Gresham Union High School in 1964 and from Portland State University in 1972. On August 10, 1968 he married Judy, with whom he remained until his passing. Richard was an award winning photographer, and a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his daughter Anne Buroker and 3 grandchildren of Oxford, England, brothers Michael Buroker of Damascus, Oregon, Robert Buroker of Troutdale, Oregon, and his sister Katheryn Buroker of Troutdale, Oregon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Willapa Heritage Foundation. A celebration of Richard’s life will be held at a later date.
