Randal Smith

Randal Edward Smith, 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by family October 9, 2017 at his home in Raymond, WA. Randy was born in Walville, WA to Roy and Elphia Smith. Randy studied Theology in Livermore, CA and after 1 year, he returned to marry Carolyn Guilliams. She then joined him in California where he continued his studies. He began his ministry in Chehalis, WA in 1969 where they lived for 7 years before moving to Longview, WA. There he began working for Longview Fibre and continued his ministry. He retired in 1997 and in 2002 moved with Carolyn to his family home in Raymond, WA and began volunteering as groundskeeper at Falls Creek Retreat Center. Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He was known for his soft-spoken ways, his amazing sense of humor, and respect for all. His caring heart and knowledge of ‘The Word of God’ gained many friends; he was well-respected and loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Carolyn Smith, his 4 daughters, Rebecca Terwilliger, Angela Campbell, Deborah Smith, and Crystal Dickson, and his siblings Janice Mustoe and Robert Smith. He is also survived by his grandchildren and two great grandchildren, to Becky and Tony Terwilliger: Logan Terwilliger and his wife Shayna and their son Xander, Levi Terwilliger and Lawson Terwilliger to Angela Campbell. Drew Campbell, Alex Campbell and his daughter Majesty; Kaeden Campbell, Rhett Campbell and K’Leah Campbell. To Debbi Smith â€" Chaz Harris and his wife Samantha. To Crystal and Bill Dickson: Jacob Dickson, Michael Specht, Hallie Dickson, Jace Dickson, and Hayli Moore. Memorial Services will be held at Napavine Assembly of God Church in Napavine, WA Sunday, October 22,2017 at 3:00 p.m. for all of those who wish to attend.
