" Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Phomma Hondamhack passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Olympia, Wash. Phomma was born in Laos, but lived half of her life in South Bend. With the courage to flee the Vietnam War, she immigrated to the United States in 1979 with her husband, Mo, her young son, Lucky, and her baby son, Sakhy. Phomma epitomized the term \\\hard worker\\\"" as she was an oyster shucker at Coast Seafoods for nearly 30 years. Everyone she met there as well as in this supportive and caring Willapa Harbor community became a friend and essentially a part of her extended family. She loved working in her garden and enjoyed the beauty of the area\\'s woods and beaches. " Phomma is survived by her husband and two sons. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Stollers Mortuary in Raymond, WA with cremation services to follow at the Fern Hill Crematory in Aberdeen, WA. Arrangements are in care of Stoller\\'s Mortuary in Raymond.
