Lois Burks

Lois Jean Burks was a resident of the Alder House in South Bend, WA, died April 23, 2018 at the Willapa Harbor Hospital after a short illness. She was 84. Lois was born to Clarence Robinson & Dora (Clark) in Los Angeles, CA August 16, 1933. Lois went to school in California and locally. She married Raymond E. Gardner, her high school sweetheart. After Ray\\'s passing, Lois went to Grays Harbor College. Lois worked for the Dept. of Fisheries in Grays Harbor until her retirement. She volunteered at the South Bend School District & in local events. During this time, she met and married Harold Burks of Lebam, WA until his passing. She had a love for her family & people in general, nature & a passion for her flowers. She made friends with anyone she met.
