Linda G. Galloway, age 79, passed away in South Bend, WA on October 30, 2024.
Linda was born on January 30, 1945 in Jenkins, KY and later that year moved to Lebam, WA where she lived until she was married. She graduated from Willapa Valley High School in 1963, and married Jerry Beason in December of the same year. Linda and Jerry moved to Raymond and then later to Willapa Valley where they raised their 3 children.
She was very spontaneous, always ready to celebrate anything, and willing to go on an adventure just for the fun of it. Linda loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, sisters, brother and numerous nieces and nephews for many family gatherings, trips to the beach, camping trips, numerous celebrations, birthdays and holidays.
Most of her life was spent caring for others. After her children were grown, she began assisting senior citizens with household duties. She continued to provide care for seniors until she was divorced and later moved to Oregon during her brief second marriage. After divorcing her 2nd husband, she moved back to Washington state to be close to her children, grandchildren and sisters again.
Linda is survived by her children, David (Regina) Beason, Jerri (Ray) Hawks, Jill (Steve) Kimball, grandchildren, Eric Trent, Ashley Mullins, Kevin Beason, Ethan Hawks, Shandi Jenks, Khristina Benson and Jenay Creek, 3 great grandchildren (plus 1 on the way) and her former husband, William Jerry Beason.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Lessie Galloway, Sisters, O’Neal Roundtree, Carol Strozyk, and Sammie Strozyk and her brother Gary Galloway.
