John Deskins

John David Deskins, a lifetime Lebam resident died April 1, 2015 at his home; he was 72. John was born January 19, 1943 to John Wesly Deskins and Mildred (Richmond) Bair. He was a Willapa Valley High School graduate. John worked 50 years as a lumber inspector for various private companies, the last being Inter-Tek based out of Houston, Texas. He was a hard worker, but made time for watching sports, he was a very enthusiastic fan. John was survived by a son Scott Deskins of Portland, OR, brother Steve Bair of Shelton, sisters Linda Toso of Marysville, WA, Debbie Stallard of Westport, WA and Dale O’Reilly of Post Falls, ID; special friends of John’s include Steve and Angie Smith and their daughters Cindy and Savanna. A Potluck Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Willapa United Methodist Church. Arrangements were in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
