Jimmy Ray Lev age 68, passed away Nov. 1, 2016 at his home in Raymond from complications related to Cancer. He was surrounded with love, family friends, and wonderful Hospice people. He was born Dec. 6, 1947, the son of Ralph B. and Ellie A. Lev. Jim attended school and graduated in 1967. In 1968 he married Sharon James in Asotin, WA, and remained married for 48 years. She survives him at the family home. Also surviving him are 3 children, Michele Griffin (John), Robert Lev, James Lev (Shelly), 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, his brother E.W. Bill Campbell a sister Gloria Cone, numerous nieces and nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, as well as two brothers and a sister. Jimmy was an avid hunter, fisherman and trapper. He so enjoyed the outdoors and loved passing on his love and knowledge to his children, grandchildren and friends. In later years, he and Sharon owned and operated Patriotic Packing. Being very passionate about it, he felt he had truly found his dream. He retired in May, 2016 due to his ill health. Following his request there will be no formal services. The family will have a private service at a later date. Cremation arrangements were in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
