Gary W. “Butch†Longden â€" Beloved son, brother, husband and uncle died at his home in Raymond, WA on March 8, 2016 at the age of 68. Butch was born to William Thomas and Iva Pearl Longden at Camden on Gauley West Virginia on March 15, 1942. He spent his childhood in West Virginia growing up in a family as one of fourteen kids. He came to Boise, ID as a teenager with his family; then later moved to Lynwood WA. He enlisted in the Army, served in Vietnam and received an honorable discharge on August 27, 1968. He later worked as an electrical apprentice with AA Electric in Boise, ID and started his own electrical contracting business in Boise, ID and Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Bobby and Lowell Thomas, his sisters Connie Miller and JoAnn Anderson, wife Sharon, brothers-in-law David Palmer and Wade Peek, and sister in-law JoAnn Longden. He is survived by his brothers Herbert, Eugene, Dale, Bill, Johnny and Kenneth and sisters Karen Peek, Joyce Delvecchio, Ginger Palmer, step-daughter Robin, brothers-in-law Jake Miller and Jim Anderson and many nieces and nephews. Services for Butch will be held at a later date at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise, Idaho. Arrangements were in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
