Donald Wayne “Don” Kennedy, 79, passed away on April 16, 2025, in South Bend, Washington.
Born on April 24, 1945, in San Francisco, California, Don led a full life marked by service, adventure, and a love for his family. He was the son of Joesph “Bud” and Constance “Connie” Kennedy, both of whom preceded him in death.
Don proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy. During his military career, he held the distinguished position of Presidential Guard—an honor that reflected his dedication and discipline.
Outside of his service, Don embraced life with enthusiasm and a spirit of adventure. He had a passion for golf, enjoyed rodeo, and had a lifelong appreciation for motorcycle riding that spoke to his love for freedom and excitement.
Don’s legacy lives on through his children: Kristine Yeagley, Kurt Kennedy, Carrie Dean, April Graff, Elizabeth Glenn, and shared a special place in his heart for his niece Teresa Bartlett that was considered another daughter to him. He is also remembered by his brother Claude Thomas “Tom” Kennedy.
May Don Kennedy’s memory bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a lasting tribute to a life well lived.
