Our mother, Dolores Crowley was born on May 25, 1927 in Raymond, Washington and was a proud elder of the Upper Skagit Indian tribe. She entered Heaven’s gates on March 28, 2015 and is now with Jesus! Mom was preceded in death by her husband and our father, Gene Crowley, her parents John & Dena Batchelor, sister Emily Miller and brother’s David & Wesley Batchelor. Mom is survived by her sister Sharon (Frank) Hubbard, brothers Don & John Batchelor, her two daughters, Angela Chamberlain and Candis Lunke (Ron) as well as grandchildren Azure (Eric) Olson, Kylee, Lyndee (Andy) Filer & great grandchildren Maddison, Ari & Nathen. Mom was Nanny to Brooke and Mom #2 to LaRene, Loretta, Melinda and others! She was a favorite, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend to all who knew her. Our mother loved the lord and shared her faith to all who would listen! She was a member of New Life Fellowship in Raymond and a talented musician, playing piano and organ in church for many years. She also did floral arrangements for many weddings and owned an antique business in South Bend for years. Since her stroke 19 years ago, mom slowed down in body but not in spirit! We marveled at her strength and even though she was in a wheelchair, she continued to amaze us. Mom believed that the Lord had a plan for her and told us a few days before she passed that she was ready to go if it was God’s will. We are thankful that she is now out of her wheelchair and with so many of her loved ones that went before her! Heaven has a new angel and her name is Dolores! A Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, April 19 at 1 pm at New Life Fellowship Church in Raymond, Washington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Life Fellowship Church electric sign fund in honor of Dolores Crowley. Cremation arrangements were in care of Stoller\\'s Mortuary in Raymond.
