Cleo Boggs

Cleo Boggs, a longtime Raymond resident died peacefully in her home Friday, December 12, 2014 while surrounded by her family; she was 88. Cleo was born March 2, 1926 at Pound, VA to Clyde and Cora (Church) Stallard. Cleo loved spending her free time reading books. She was also an amazing cook who loved to cook for her family, especially during the holidays. Cleo was preceded in death by her husband Burtrand Boggs, and her sons; Jim and Charles Boggs. She is survived by her sons; Royce (Mary), Harold (Carla), Tony (Burnetta), Russell (Sherrie), and Mike (Verna) Boggs. She is also survived by her daughters; Deborah (Michael) Yates, Ellamae Soverign, Theresa (Kevin) Beavers, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00p.m.Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond with burial to follow at the Fern Hill Cemetery in Menlo.
